The Phoenix 6 is one of the most surprising and impressive IEMs I’ve reviewed as of late. I applaud Astrotec for their versatile, beautifully tuned and meticulously constructed flagship that represents a serious contender in the high-end space.
Astrotec has created a great earphone to live with day to day but also one that is not especially enjoyable to listen to.
The Lyra Nature LE is the new go-to option for earbud enthusiasts wanting the most accurate midrange reproduction and layered soundstage.
Little Dot provide another unique and highly competitive addition to the sub $1k price class. Don’t let the naming scheme or company’s lack of IEMs heritage concern you, the CK is surely a model with great appeal!
For a meagre sum, the S80 Plus delivers an fairly well-rounded experience and a step up from the S80 in daily use, but fails to standout in a competitive market.
The EM5 is an especially resolving earbud with a comfortable, well-built shell and great, albeit fixed, modular cable that permits enjoyment from any source.
If you’re interested in a soothing sound for longer listening sessions, the Volans is a great example with a premium form factor and class-leading bass quality
